This post is long overdue, we had but one single glorious, gleaming, pearlescent day of SNOW this past winter. Not the usual ice and hail, snow! The morning before, it was clear and cold. Then that night we heard what sounded like quiet rain, and woke up to *this*



I'd really only just gotten used to the idea of winter period, and ice was still half-made-up in my mind, but snow? Snow is bonkers. I'll never get used to this. Ganon was all about it though, and the puppy was beyond overjoyed! 



Since most everyone called in sick that day, the snow was almost untouched until well into the day.



 Since I live closest to work of everyone in my office, I had the dubious honor of being the one who got to go in even if snow closed the roads, so I geared myself up for a snow trudge.



 Here's the neighbor's house, flag still proudly waving no matter the cold!



 And here's our house, can't tell at all where anything is, it's just pure, powdery white

I made it! Some very creative parking work by some other brave members of the team



 This was a fun end to the walk: icicles on the card reader :)
 It was a short work day, then I walked home. But by mid-afternoon, the snow was already gone. I'm glad I got some pictures when I did!
